Time4Hope, Counselling

For 15 years I worked as a Child Development Adviser for the NHS South Warwickshire Portage Service. I had the privilege to work closely with families who have children with additional needs. The role involved enhancing children’s development through a variety of carefully planned play activities, as well as supporting children within their educational settings.

I have been very fortunate during my work, to have completed a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. At present, I run a counselling service called Time4Hope and have a professional interest in working with parents/carers and their children who have Autism. My aim is to strengthen personal resilience, to enable families to cope with the challenges life may bring.  My other qualifications include an N.N.E.B. Diploma in Nursery Nursing, a Certificate in Portage Home Visiting and a Certificate in the Baby Bonding Attachment Programme.

I enjoy swimming, reading and going for long leisurely walks with friends and family. To find out more, please visit the Time4Hope website: http://time4hope.co.uk/.
