Meet the team / Clair Cole

I have worked as a specialist teacher for 22 years, supporting children and young people experiencing a range of difficulties with their learning, prior to which I taught in both primary and secondary schools as a class teacher, learning support teacher and SENCO.
I have further experience teaching and supporting children, young people and adults with Dyslexia, including the provision of specialist SpLD study skills support for university students. I have been carrying out diagnostic assessments for Dyslexia for 21 years, including assessments for Disabled Students Allowance and I am the Quality Manager on the Include-ed Level 7 Postgraduate Award of Proficiency in Assessment for Access Arrangements. Since 1999, I have been involved with the South Warwickshire Dyslexia Association as a teacher, committee member and advisor.
I am particularly interested in assistive technology and how it can be used to help individuals with Dyslexia manage in their education, work and day to day living.
